Berkshire Music Trust donates piano to Lower Earley Library

Berkshire Music Trust is delighted to announce the donation of a piano to Lower Earley Library, now available for all visitors to enjoy.

Jamie Read, Partnership & Inclusion Manager at Berkshire Music Trust, attended the library on Thursday 15th August 2024 to entertain visitors with two sessions, performing to adults in the morning and children in the afternoon.

Berkshire Music Trust is the music hub for everyone in Berkshire. We are proud to support the community by providing this piano for all visitors to Lower Earley Library. With headphones available, you can play privately and at your own pace. It’s a wonderful resource for anyone learning piano, offering free and unrestricted access for both children and adults.” – Jamie Read (Partnership & Inclusion Manager)

As a dedicated music charity, Berkshire Music Trust believes in making music accessible to everyone in every community. The donation of this piano offers individuals the opportunity to practice and explore music, particularly for those who may not have access to a piano of their own. Additionally, we have provided a selection of sheet music for visitors to use.

This project is made possible thanks to the funding and support of Berkshire Music Trust, Earley Trust, Casio, Wokingham Lions, Wokingham Borough Council, Arts & Culture Service, and Communities & Partnerships.
