As a charity, Berkshire Music Trust supports hundreds of children and young people each year to access high-quality music opportunities without financial barriers. We raise funds to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, can benefit from music education, helping young people to unlock their potential and contributing to a fairer society. 

Each term, we currently support over 300 students through our income based remission scheme, providing an average reduction of 70% in lesson fees. In addition, we support a further 100 children and young people with additional needs, enabling them to access individual lessons at a 50% reduction where group provision is not accessible. 

Over the past year, requests for financial support through this scheme have increased by 150%, highlighting the growing pressures faced by families in the current climate. Your support is vital in helping us meet this rising demand and continue to ensure that no child is excluded from music education due to cost.
